Adventures in Dining: O'Keefes Irish Pub

@http://www.okeefespub.net/
O'Keefes is a nice little Irish Pub, not too far from our home. A neighbor had mentioned having lunch there and, in the eternal search for a good neighborhood pub, we decided to check it out. While it's not much to look at on the outside, it's not too bad once you get inside. And like any good pub, the people were friendly and the food was good!

A decent size bar, there's also a small dining area, a pool table, a few video games, and a small area where bands perform.

Lots of Irish decorations, including a Smithwick's mirror I wouldn't mind giving DH for his birthday. Think it would look lovely in his Man Cave!

DH had a club sandwich and a Smithwick's beer. Not sure why they put it in a Guinness glass, but maybe that's all that was clean? The sandwich was huge, and I still can't believe he actually finished it!

I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pulled pork was a little more vinegary than I like, but still good. Loved the fries!

On our second visit, I went with a cheeseburger and DH had fish & chips. We both had waffle fries. I like the regular fries better, but the burger was oh-so-good! DH said the fish was good, but he could have easily eaten a third piece.

All in all, this is a nice lunch place with friendly people and a decent menu. Not too expensive either! Have definitely added this to our go-to list!
